I started my journey as a professional photographer four years ago, pouring everything I had physically, emotionally, and creatively into building a wedding photography company from the ground up. Those early years shaped me fast. I learned how to tell stories through light, how to hold space for emotion, and how to create images that feel like memories instead of moments. Over time, I realized my creative voice wanted more... I WANTED honesty, more intention, more soul in my creative work. I stepped into my own path, re-centered my work around connection and storytelling, and built Lanna J Photography as a reflection of what matters most to me: love, family, resilience, and art that feels alive. I’m a mother, an artist, and a romantic at heart. My daughter is my anchor and my why. This business isn’t just a career. it’s how I build our adventures, our independence, and our future. Every session I photograph feels like breathing fresh air - creating with freedom, intention, and depth. My work is deeply inspired by real emotion, layered love stories, and cinematic nostalgia. I’m the kind of person who still knows every word from A Walk to Remember, recreates scenes from favorite romance novels just for fun, and shows up to sessions singing along to Noah Kahan at full volume on the drive over.
